I fell in love with performance when I was 9, at my first audition, where I had my first sensation of being in the "zone" with other players on a stage. It was incredibly fun and I felt so alive. I was cast as an evil stepsister in the local professional theater production of Cinderella.
I studied drama and dance in college, then at American Conservatory Theater and also at The Actors Center in NYC, in their professional conservatory. The program was directed by J. Michael Miller, with Earle Gister, Ron VanLieu, Grace Zandarski, Chris Bayes and many more.
Most recently I have been studying with Larry Moss, acting coach. I also take classes at UCB. I have appeared in a number of plays and independent films. Please contact me for my resume and additional footage of my work.
I've been making and decorating my own clothes since I was a kid, but in 2013 I became obsessed with headdresses. They're a highly expressive, dramatic, glamorous way to bring out a particular archetype or character of my personality that might not otherwise find a place in the monotony of daily life. Warrior, phoenix, dragon goddess, sun goddess, geisha, Cleopatra, mermaid, mad hatter, sexy magician, winter death queen, iridescent murderous raven, Amazonian tribal queen, Japanese snow crane as a showgirl...whatever it might be, there's a regal crown for it.
I work with individuals to create the crown of their dreams, whether it be for a performance, a wedding, a ritual, a festival, or just so they can feel like the star of the show whenever they desire. Please contact me to discuss custom work.
I have been training and performing as an aerialist for two and a half years, mostly on silks but also rope. I've performed in NYC nightclubs and at major east coast festivals.
